Dorm Leader Position Tournament

I'm wondering if we can use techs from archtypes like Infernity, GB's, Sabers? (besides stuff like ryko and airbellum)

Yeah some techniques are allowed, but since Infernities aren't in kcvds yet, I haven't played them yet, so I'm not familiar with their techniques

well, I've been experimenting with Infernity Beetlehttp://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Infernity_Beetle and may make a deck around it, but it most likely will only have that Infernity with some Infernity support cards. That's okay, right?

Now that I've registered on DMG, I can start testing Infernities, so I'll get back to you as soon as possible, but it could take a few days since I'm kinda busy at the moment.

Stardust Drago/Assault Mode because the deck is overpowered.
I don't see anything wrong with Tiger + Burden.
D.D. Warrior + Dimensional Fissure/Cosmos is a macro deck, I haven't quite decided yet if Macro (Monarchs) should be allowed, but I'll let you know.

would I be able to use my chaos deck that utilizes Judgment Dragon and DAD? Its got exactly 7 lightsworns (3 rykos, 2 lylas, 1 wulf, 1 lummina)

Sorry man, as stated above, no lightsworns except Ryko and Charge Of The Lightbrigade, no exceptions.

How about the armory arm + collosal fighter combo?

(it's where you equip armory arm to ur opp's monster with 1900 or more attack then synchro summon collosal fighter then attack ur opps monster with now 2900 attack...and so u lose 100 or more LP and then armory arm's eff activates. since you control armory arm, your opponent loses lifepoints equal to collosal fighter's attack and then you revive collosal fighter back from the grave with it's own effect and do it all over again...in a way, it's a very weird OTK)

I'll leave it to PEPITO to decide what duel system we'll be using for the tournament.

Locks are a kind of playstyle that focusses on taking away the ability of your opponent to play some types of cards. A very known lock is Dark Simorgh + Anti-Spell Fragrance. Dark Simorgh's ability prevents the opponent from setting cards and Anti-Spell Fragrance requires players to set their cards for one turn before they can be activated. In combination, these two cards keep your opponent from playin any magic/trap card or face-down monsters.

A lock is something that makes your opponent not able to play anything, such as the Mist Valley Apex Avian + Mist Valley Thunderbird Lock.

There's another famous lock but it's in traditional format but I'll share it anyway

It's where you use Tsukoyomi's effect on either Mask of Restrict or Magician of Faith to keep recycling your Time Seal or Swords of revealing light.

Another famous casual deck is the Horus Lockdown deck which basically uses Horus lvl 8s effect to seal all spells with Royal Decree (which prevents all traps from being activated) or Jinzo. This was a famous and very powerful deck before synchros came out

Another one (but a bit slow) is by using the cards Secret Village of Spellcasters and Sorcerer of Dark Magic. Village prevents the activation of any spells unless you have a spellcaster type on your field and Sorcerer negates any trap the opponent controls.

I'm sure there are other lockdown decks but here's the ones I know and I just wanted to share my knowledge

P.S. Nobodies entry has been excepted yet, you will be fully excepted when you give me the deck that you will be using for each (think it through because there will be no changes when the tournament starts). So when ever you can post the deck that you will be using for the 3 tournaments. Remember you can use a different deck for each tournament.

I've been testing a lot just if I pick something from TSD then I can only play on YVD and DMG, but if I pick Dragunities I can only play on DMG. It's a tough choice, really.

Maybe it's best they send the decks they'll be using to us along with the side deck to prevent cheating
